1997 Packet Radio
During the Tonga Exedition in the "Tote Gebirge"] a packeradio transmitter was taken for the short wave area. On the photo you see the transmitting antenna next to the summit of the “Grosser Priel” in Upper Austria. One connection was established over 400 km to Nuremberg and one to the Baltic Sea more than 1000km.
