The focus was primarily on triggering emotional responses in the player. Driven by the urge to play, the player gradually became dependent on an algorithm—a central theme of this installation. The audience needed no prior knowledge of art or critical engagement with new media. Concepts like generative or process art were irrelevant, yet the player remained the most crucial element in exploring this new interaction between humans and machines.
Several interactive machines were installed, requiring physical engagement from visitors. These included devices with treadmills or punching balls. The players' activities were broadcast live on 3sat, narrated by a blind moderator. This setup explored a new form of human-machine interaction outside the conventional art context.
